EASTON -- Honda recently filmed its national 2004 motocross ad campaign at The Landing MX, a motocross complex in Easton. The shoot, held on June 16 and 17, consisted of Honda filming their national commercial and taking still photography for brochures.
Nearly 200 cast and crew were involved in shooting the campaign.

HOOKS, Texas-When Jon Paul Powell of Newton, Kan., came to Arkansas to brush up on his riding skills, little did he know that he'd end up with a job as well.
The 18-year-old Powell concluded a whirlwind 10 days by sweeping both Pro division motocross races Saturday night at the Four States MX track in the third round of the Texarkana Honda Sundown series.

Freestyle pioneer Metzger puts on a show to narrowly win West Coast championships on Saturday.

SAN BERNARDINO - Mike Metzger, considered the pioneer of freestyle motocross, narrowly defeated Brian Deegan to win the West Coast Freestyle MX extreme championships in front of 7,500 fans Saturday at the Orange Show Speedway.

A Victorian Supermotard Championship has been proposed and it's well under way in the planning stages.
This is going to be huge and not to be under estimated as a secondary

Willy Simons has recently joined the Too Tech Racing Crew.
His last outing at the big 6 GP Series netted him the overall 250 cc win in the 30 Expert Class and the 40 expert class, and Too Tech is very happy to have him aboard.

CRF450 Tuesday night.
The Supermotard Riders Club of Australia had a practice night at the
Grand Prix Training Centre in the north Melbourne suburb of South Morang
last night. Considering the amount of rain in the previous few days
there was a good turn out of riders in the first of what will become

Chad Reed, Branden Jesseman storm St. Louis
Chad Reed won the 20 lap 250 Main Event in convincing style. Ricky
Carmichael finished second after falling. Ernesto Fonseca was third.
Branden Jesseman won the 125 East Main, overcoming a poor start. Steve
Boniface had his best finish ever with second, and Mike Brown was third.
Notes: Fastest lap times for the 125's were approx. 55 seconds, for the
Ricky Carmichael's back in the groove! Branden Jesseman scores first in the
east!
250 Main: Ricky Carmichael won his fourth 250 Main event of the season, and
extended his series points lead. Ezra Lusk finished in the runner-up
position to RC. Tim Ferry rounded out the top three on the four-stroke YZ
450.
NOTES: Chad Reed was fast. He won his heat. He was leading the main until he
