k first of all u should unscrew yur throttle cable from the throttle mechanism. u should be able to see the actual throttle cable. pull on that to see if yur carbs valve still works. if u dont here the valve sliding up an down then its in yur carb but i wont get into how to fix that unless u need it so let me kno. ne ways the throttle mechanism is pretty simple. my first guess was that u maybe smashed the plastic throttle tube onto the end of yur bars so check that first. next take the mounting bracket screws out an i would assume that half of the metal part of the mechanism will fall off. try to twist the throttle now but be sure to keep it from fallin out of the top part of the mechanism. inspect all the grooves where it runs for any chunks of metal or plastic in the way. thats pretty much all thats in there so if its not that check for a kinked cable
i might say sum stuff that seems basic so sorry but im just tryin to give as much detail as i can. i dont kno the specifics for yur bike but i ride an rm80 so the descriptions i give should be close to yurs. ne way there should be a rubber tube on both sides of yur carb held on with hose clamps. loosen the clamps an pull the rubber tubes back to free the carb from yur bike. if this isnt how yur carb is held on just see how yurs is held on an take it off. k now when u look through the carb there should be a piece of metal blocking yur view. this is yur slide valve an you should be able to slide this up into the top of yur carb. it should slide up freely and if u pull yur finger away it should snap down quickly. also look around it for somethin obvious that might be keepin it from workin right. now on the top where the throttle cable enters the carb there should be two screws or sumthin holdin that top metal plate to yur carb. take those screws out but be careful because there is a spring inside an u dont want ne parts to be shot out. now u should be able to pull the entire throttle assembly including the slide valve and needle out of the top. this is all that moves when u twist the throttle so look at everything, understand how it works and use common sense to look for problems. look for gouges or snags in that part of the cable and make sure the needle on the bottom of the slide valve isnt bent. if none of this helps let me kno and tell me if u see ne thing unusual. hope this helps. let me kno if u need ne more help
