Does anyone have a good idea what the top speed of a 2006 stock TTR 250 would be? I mostly trail ride in mountains, but don't want to get blown away on dirt roads and such. I am up-grading from my 1990 XR 200 which tops out at about 65.
well I had an XR100 and I was raceing my friend on a polaris sportmens 700 or something and he said he was going 60 MPH on the odmeter and I flew pass him and now i have a CRF 230 and it will go anywhere betewwn 75-80 so thats prombly where a 250 would go just with a little more pull

well if your comming from an xr 200 you should get a honda cr 125
you might do better enless you like 4- strokes

i have a ttr 230 stock and it goes somewear from 55 to 60 mph and the 2 stroke 125s r a little bit faster my friend has kx and rm 125s.

nah i hit about 75 mph on a back road but i have mods but even stock they do about 60-65 mph
