Seattle Winner Chats about Win, Rookie Season and Design Process
LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. -- To say Ryan Villopoto had a monster night on Saturday would be an understatement. The 20-year old Washington native made a triumphant return to the series at his “home field” and brought the hometown crowd to its feet with his first career AMA Supercross class victory at Seattle’s Qwest Field.

The final round of The Shell Advance Sunshine series was held at Coolum with Husqvarna Jake Wright taking home 2nd in the Junior 15 year’s class.
With a major crash for Wright in the first race cost him the championship. In race one, Wright crashed into the first corner. Having riders running over him, Wright managed to get going from last position and finish 11th.
Husqvarna Racing Australia is celebrating its first Australian title for their debut WR300 Enduro model.
Having taken an early lead in class 5 of the event, Jehi Willis went into day four’s final Moto with a 6-second lead over KTM’s Brad Williscroft. Needing only to have a clean run to wrap up the title, Willis rode a smart race all the way to the finish line.
Dungey Grabs Firm Control of Lites Western Championship with Dominating Win
Day three of Australia’s biggest enduro race became a test of absolute fitness, as the extremely chopped-out tests and trails proved a punishing course for all riders. Husqvarna Racing’s Jehi Willis will go into the class 5 final moto with a six-second lead over Brad Williscroft. Willis is confident he can pull a good start on his WR300, which he’ll use to keep Williscroft out of reach of the top podium spot.
PICKERINGTON, Ohio --The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has voted to deny a petition to exclude youth-model motorcycles and ATVs from a law that bans their sale because of possible lead concerns--but has cleared the way for a second vote by month's end to delay enforcement of the law, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) reports.
AURORA, Ill. (April 17, 2009) – The 2009 MX for Children Inside Line Experience’s third and final event of the 2009 season kicked off with a lot of smiles as six of the top riders from the Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, series visited the Seattle Children’s Hospital for the fourth year in a row.
AURORA, Ill. (April 17, 2009) – In a typical season, 10 AMA Supercross class wins would solidify a championship, but that’s not the case for James Stewart, who by many is considered the fastest man on the planet. Heading into tomorrow night’s Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race at Seattle’s Qwest Field, Stewart has seven more race wins than rival Chad Reed, but he trails Reed by five points in the championship.
With more dust, rocks and DNF’s, Day 2 of the A4DE took no mercy on competitors, yet didn’t falter the powerful team of Chris Hollis and his Husqvarna TE450.
As riders retraced the beaten tracks of day one, the increasingly dry course further deteriorated into a brutal combination of powder-filled ruts and exposed rock between the trees.
In true A4DE style, the extreme conditions were forcing the best of riders to make costly mistakes, though Hollis maintained the focus to fight with Jarrod Bewley for outright honors.
