Zero have put the 2013 models on their website

While I still don't think they are the most attractive bikes by a long shot, Zero's new models certainly look a lot nicer than the previous generation, and as far as take-up and resellers go, they seem to have quite a jump on the rest of the manufacturers.

Checkout the new models here: http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/2013/

Herfoss off to US for rounds 2/3/4 of AMA Supermoto Championship

Young gun Troy Herfoss is on his way to the USA today to compete in rounds 2/3/4 of the AMA Supermoto Championships. Riding a full factory spec SM450RR for the GP Husqvarna team in season 2006, Troy is concentrating purely on the premier Supermoto class and aiming for podium finishes in the coming rounds.

Finishing his first two motos in 9th and 5th place secured him 7th overall in the championship after round 1 held at the California Speedway back in April 29, 2006.

The next round will be held at the Road America circuit, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on June 3rd, 2006.

Yet another comeback in the making for Henry

AMA Supermoto comes to Road America’s Briggs & Stratton Motorplex

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (May 30, 2006) -- Doug Henry surprised himself with a pair of victories in the AMA Supermoto Championship presented by Parts Unlimited season opener in Fontana, Calif., in April. The Graves Yamaha rider hopes to continue his remarkable comeback as the series gets back underway at Road America’s Briggs & Stratton Motorplex this Saturday, June 3 in Elkhart Lake, Wis.

Henry is no stranger to making comebacks from injury. In 1995 Henry broke his back in a terrifying motocross crash at Budd Creek, Md., while dueling with Jeremy McGrath for the lead. Doctors said Henry would never race again, but come back he did. He won the AMA Motocross Championship in 1998. A year ago at Road America Henry beat World Supermoto Champ Thierry Van den Bosch in one of the most exciting AMA Supermoto races yet. But two rounds later he suffered a bad crash at the Copper Mountain, Colo., race and injuries forced him to miss the rest of the season.

HUSQVARNA RACING HAS ACTION PACKED 1st ROUND

It was an action packed evening for the Husqvarna Racing team at the first round of the Ssangyong Australian Supermoto Championship run under lights last night in Sydney, with the Husqvarna Racing team obtaining podium positions in both the S2 and the Women’s Classes.

In his debut supermoto event, Adam Cini stormed the competition, not only qualifying for the evening’s races on pole in the S1class but also qualifying in 2nd position behind team mate Troy Herfoss in the S2 class. Cini took out the first S1 race of the evening, and also had an exceptional evening onboard his Husqvarna SMR 450 in the S2 class, with third and a fourth in the two races held to complete the round in 3rd position behind Stuart Bennett and Rodney Taplin.

Troy Herfoss - 2 Classes, 2 AMA Poles, 2 AMA Podiums

Another round, another podium result for Husqvarna’s Troy Herfoss at the fifth round of the AMA Supermoto Championships held in Nashville over the weekend.

[image:5246,left hspace=10]Competing in both the premier Supermoto Class and the Unlimited Class events, Herfoss had a hectic race schedule however this did not stop him from taking pole position in the Unlimited class before backing up to take the Supermoto Superpole win, almost one second ahead of Championship leader Jeff Ward.

As the natural light faded and the track lights powered up, the stage was set for Herfoss to record his finest Supermoto result. The first race of the Supermoto class saw Herfoss bolt to an early lead with Kunzel in toe. Herfoss led for the first 12 laps before coming into lapped traffic. Kunzel made his move and took the lead before Herfoss came off second best after a collision with Kunzel’s lapped teammate put an end to hopes of taking his first AMA premier class victory.

All the pre-race build up concerning the battle between Husqvarna’s Troy Herfoss and Yamaha’s Shannon Johnson was finally put to rest on Saturday.

Round one quickly became the ‘Troy Herfoss Show’ as he took out all four round one races (S2 class) in style, creating a 26 point gap between himself and second placed Johnson. Husqvarna’s Chad Turnbull also put on a strong performance, finishing equal third on points for the round.

Herfoss on the podium at the first round of the AMA

Husqvarna Racing's Troy Herfoss has kicked off his AMA season with a podium result, finishing 2nd in the Unlimited Class at the first round held in Wisconsin. The weather played a major role in the day's racing with all races being declared wet as the rain came down. Although it was Herfoss' first ever wet race, he rode like a wet weather veteran, edging out World Superbike team mate Leonardo Bagnis for second and narrowly missing the top position.

"I was already a bit nervous, being my first ride in the AMA, but then when it started raining I was even more anxious as I've never raced in the wet before. The bike (Husqvarna SM510R) had an awesome wet setup and I just cleared my mind and rode." Replied Herfoss when questioned about his first race

Jake Magee takes 'lites' clean sweep at Oran Park

Husqvarna Racing's young gun, Jake Magee, took out all three races in the Lites Class at round one of the Supermoto State of Origin series held at Oran Park yesterday. The Oran Park circuit is a favorite of Magee who also recently took out the Lites class at round one of the Supermotard Extreme Queensland Championship.

"I enjoy racing at Oran Park and I've done some testing here in the past so I know it quite well. The tighter chicane through the dirt section this weekend was a nice tricky change." Magee commented regarding the Oran Park circuit. "I'm really pleased with the results this weekend. The bike (Husqvarna Racing SM250R) was beautifully setup which made the ride a little easier."

Husqvarna takes clean sweep at Supermotard Extreme QLD Championships - 30/4/2005

Husqvarna racing has dominated round 1 of the Supermotard Extreme Qld Championships held at Gladstone’s Formula K Raceway yesterday, winning all three classes and the All Powers Challenge.

With excellent weather, a large crowd, and a well prepared all-bitumen track, conditions were perfect to kick start Husqvarna’s 2005 supermotard campaign. And what better way to do it than with victories in all three
categories – Unlimited, Sport, and Lites.

Last year’s National Champion, Josh McFarlane, continued to stamp his authority in the Unlimited Class onboard his Husqvarna Racing SMR630.
