Hey, I am purchasing a 08 crf230f. I was wondering how easy a big bore kit is to install and anyone know a site that would sell one cheap. ALso if anyone could just explain to me what you have to do so I can get an idea of the machanic (not sure how to spell ; /) skill required to install one. Also what I can do to my bike to increase the power yet not buy anything(a temporary mod) Also how to rejet a bike. This would GREATLY be appreciated. Also any other information or tips to keep my bike in shape or anything that would help.

i think all u have to do is take the pistons and make it bigger or something if you want it done good you could take it to a polaris store or some place that works on bikes.I got a big bore kit put in my pit bike lol it was a 50cc we made it into a 125cc it is a lot of fun tho you can sure pop it up easily

If your gonna buy a brand new 230 and get a big bore kit for it why dont you just get the CRF 250X
