i have an '04 crf250 and it really doesnt need that much matance but then again i dont race but i do ride pretty hard and i bought it used and the engine is just now needing to be replaced and the guy before rode it for only 30 hrs and who knows how many hours i have ridden so idk maybe if you race it will be but for riding trails it doesnt require much work just basic stuff
