The New CRF150R or CRF250 for me?

I'm a new dirt rider, although i ride street bikes. I'm not afraid of power, but its height that stops me, i'm 5'3(and a half Ü). I know the 250 is pretty big and i can only touch by leaning side to side, but i'm afraid if i get a 150 that i'll outgrow it or it wont accomplish what i want. I go to dumont quite often but i'm told that the 150r is a racing bike not made for that kind of riding and will eventually blow in the dunes. . is this right? i am also just afraid that if i conquer the 250f, what happens when i'm mid razor back and i drop it in the sand and am unable to pick it up? i dont know, i'm a pretty determined girl and i like to ride with the big boys, i just dont want to get a 150 and not be able to keep up with my friends, or my girl on the 450 quad.. dang..

let me know what you think.. any input helps. Thanks

ok dont worry about keepin up

ok dont worry about keepin up with the big boys.
the crf 150 r lets say.. has the power you will need to keep up with the boys.
and it weighs about 40 pounds less then the 250.
and if you ever outgrow it
witch you shouldint
there is plenty of aftermarket parts you can buy to make it bigger, faster, or just pull more hores power out of it.
and with the price difference between the two bike!
the 150 should be perfect for you

get a 150r big wheel there al

get a 150r big wheel there almost as powerfull as a 125 but no quite

125 is probably 20mph faster and better acceleration.. me and my 2 buddies went to a mountain and my friend is 5.4 hes gotta 150r small wheel so its pretty small but the big wheel is bigger my other buddy has a kx 80 and its a little bigger than his but it has custom suspension so its higher than stock and i gotta cr 125r wit too many mods to list but its pretty easy to handle and im 5.5

150 vs 250

At 5.3 you'd be nuts to get a 250!
My wife is 5.4 and the 150r is perfect.
More power then you'll use, yet manageable.
You'll regret the 250 every time you find yourself leaning over a rut. You'll hit the point of no return way too often.
The big wheel (expert) 150r is perfect!!

Hi I'm 14 years old I have some experience riding dirt bikes I've been on trails and stuff with a friends dirt bike .and I have a raptor 250 now sold that and I was wondering if I should get a crf 150r I'm 5'10 135 pounds or a crf 250 r idk because I

think I will grow out of the 150r in less than a year but the 250 could be too much

Smaller bikes

You will outgrow the 150 quickly, but there is a special magic to riding a machine you can really throw around. Thats why you see all the pro's with small bikes as well, for fun!
