From The Southern Highland News
The name Peter McCann might not be well known in the Southern Highlands, but in the world of freestyle motocross, McCann is famous for his aerial acrobatics and tricks.
The 18 year-old Balmoral resident has made quite a name for himself on the freestyle circuit over the last two and a half years, competing in the World X Games twice, as well as performing at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney earlier this year.

McCann said it was a buzz performing freestyle demonstrations in front of huge crowds at the Sydney Showground and he is looking forward to performing at the Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide Royal Shows later in the year.
But McCann's immediate focus is on this weekend's Pro-Am Championships in Melbourne, where up and coming amateur riders and professionals, such as himself, compete on the one program.
It will be his first event after enjoying a four-week break, where he got the rare chance to catch up with his family and spent some time on their Balmoral property.
