Yz125 1974 wont start

Hi, i was wondering if someone could help me, i bought a 74 yz125 and i had it running for like 30 minutes and after i stopped it it didn't want to start again. so i went on ebay and bid on a 78 coil, does anybody think it would fit???? and how much compression do i need to get it running??

Well does it have compression

Well does it have compression or not ?? because if it doesnt then it could be ur top end. if it does then check your reed valves if a 74 has them

yes it has 110lbs of compress

yes it has 110lbs of compression and i got it running by changing the sparkplug, it was the wrong sparkplug, instead of a b9egv it was a br8es
