I CURRENTLY RIDE A YZ85 AND I AM LOOKING FOR A 250. I LIKE THE TWO STROKES A LOT BECAUSE MYFRIENDS DAD HAS A 95 IN MINT CONDITION AND I RID IT A LOT. BUT I WANT TO KNOW WHICH BIKE IS BETTER BETWEEN THE 250F AND THE TWO STROKE 250. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK.

the differences between a two

the differences between a two and 4 stroke 250 are huge, 250f's are comparable to 125's and 250's are comparable to 450's. A 2 stroke 250 has alot more power than a four stroke 250. To really know what bike would be better for you, you would have to consider you riding ability, can u handle the power of a 250? or would it be better to have a smaller bike? also what class you are possibly considering on racing in, the 250f is raced in the 125 class, and two stroke in the 250 class. Also how much money you have to maintain your bike, personally i think 4 stroke need alot more maintenance than 2 strokes.

The diffrence between the two

The diffrence between the two bikes is this...
the yz250 is a lot faster and has that punchy-powerband chances are that you would be a lot faster on a 250f because your coming off a 85 i suggest either a 125 or a 250f there both pretty close to the same speed but the 250f is faster it has more horse power and pounds of tourque
your just going to feel that the 125 is going to be a lot more shifting and faster in close distances and the 250f will rev to the moon without having to be shifted and still be faster and easier to ride
