Starting in January, a couple of other guys and I discussed riding to Copper Canyon. I decided to go, and to ride the KTM (1998 620 RXC).
I thought about a number of modifications to make before the trip. Here's what I modified:
With a win in Round 10 at New Orleans, Ricky Carmichael extends his points lead over David Vullemin, Stephane Roncada placed second, while Vullemin kept his championship hopes alive with a third place, despite being in obvious pain from the shoulder injury.
Chad Reed continues his domination in this years 125 East championship, with Grant Langston coming in second, and Larry Ward, coming in third.

HondaXR.com have done a review of the Quicksilver Pumper Carb, which has been very successful for the XR 650 mailing list guys.
HondaXR.com fitted it to an older XR 600, with good results.
Might be a nice add on for the little XR 250 I reckon. ;-)

Well, i've seen the Design Cafe on a few websites over the last week or so, so I decided to check it out.
The site shows a few concept models, and asks for your feedback on what you'd like to see.
Check it out for yourself here
It would be greate to see this sort of thing from all the manufacturers, so even if you're not particularly a Yamaha person, check it out, and give it a go.
The news gateway is back online now, allowing you to view the dirtbike related usenet motorcycle groups.
Check it out here
Note that it still requires a username and password, this and the look and feel will be integrated with the main site over the next few days, so that you do not need to be signing in in two seperate places.
For now, you can read the newsgroups fine without signing in.
Ricky Carmichael makes it three in a row, and Chad Reed makes it four in a row.
In the 250's, David Vullemin who has been the points leader up until now had to sit out the round due to the injury received last weekend at a magazine shoot. This and Carmichael winning the round sees him now with a 5 point lead over Vullemin.
Tim Ferry also made a good return, after injuring himself in round 4, coming in second.
Round 4 of the Supercross masters was held on Saturday night at Wayville Showgrounds in Adelaide, South Australia.
In the 250 class, Craig Anderson ran a smart and consistent 3 moto's to come up in first place, with and equal second being decided by the winner of the third moto between Daryl Hurley, and Shane Metcalfe.
1. Craig Anderson
2. Daryl Hurley
3. Shane Metcalfe
In the 125 class, Troy Dorron once again stamped his authority with a convincing overall win, with Troy Carrol and Robbie Marshall bringing up second and third respectively.
