Capalaba dirtbike racer Chris Taylor has taken out the 2003 Shell Advance Clubman Lights Sunshine State Motocross Series.
The 19-year-old beat 130 other competitors from throughout Queensland and News South Wales to win the coveted C grade title.
The eight round competition took Chris as far north as Hervey Bay and out to Goondiwindi.
He
competed alongside 40 other contestants at a time, tearing around the
track jumping over bumps and thrashing around corners at speeds up to
80km/h.
The rising young talent said that he had come along way since he bought his first dirtbike three years ago.
