i purchased my first bike recently, an 1982 yamaha it175 and i have found that the rear brake only works when it wants to. i am new to the bike maint. thing and have no idea where to start in fixing it. any help would be much appreciated.
guessin with the age of yur bike i assume it has a rear drum. if u have already checked the linkage to the brake then disconnect all the linkages goin to the brake, pull the rear axle then u can take the tire off. the drum will just pull rught off of the wheel an u can have a peek inside the drum to look for obvious signs of destruction
