hey whats up everybody this is unbeatable racer here i havent been on in like a year so ya i sold my yz 125 but raced one last time i just got a 2005 rmz 250 and i love it the 4 strokes are taking over but anyways back to the point . i kinda like the dual exzaust systems that have came out and i think i have made up the ultimante system. but i dont know if it would work though ok here it goes for the bike lets just take mine for exzample the rmz 250 what if you ran a dual exzaust t-4 racin sistem with the custom end caps and you ran a powerbome from fmf. pretty tight huh i firgured the cost i figured the new t-4 racing systems come with the custom end caps at a price around $1200 at lowest $1600 at highest and the power bomb would run up for about over $300 so your looking at taking a decent stab into your pocket book but hey HOW SWEET WOULD THAT LOOK AND BE! HUH tell me that wouldnt be cool. and would it work?
first off, dual exhaust usual
first off, dual exhaust usually requires dual something like exhaust ports. the crf250r's have dual exhaust ports and therefore can do this. on an rmz250 they are ported into one and splitting the exhasut pipe into 2 would do terrible hings to performance. the velocity of the air would be cut in half due to 2 pipes designed to flow double wat is going through them. now with slower moving exhaust gases this leaves more time for the heat of the exhaust to be passed on the the header and pipes. this means cooled exhaust gases, cooler gases flow slower than hot ones and therefore u would just continue to lose. then u have the whole problem of needing a custom left side number plate to accomodate the new exhaust. i think it looks good, but even on the crf250r's that are set up for this most people run a single system because they claim power losses with the duals. im sorry dont blame me, im just the messenger.
