i know the top speed of the cr 125 is faster than the top speed of a crf 150. stop trying to think that a crf 150 is faster ur a dumbass. the cr would whoop that thing its faster, better suspeniision, better power band and just plane bigger bike
i have a 99' CR125 and the top is 73mph for all you americans. im aussie so its just shy of 120kmh. this is with a stock box, 13 - 58 tooth sprokets. the engine however is worked with bigger bore and head work. it has a procircut system and shorty muffler. I have a bigger carb for desert riding whitch gets me 81mph (130kmh) but that it screaming and ive never held it there. this carb however bogs down if you drop out of powerband so its pretty much useless. both these are on dirt roads and gps verified.
And by the way a CRF 150 is a bigger bike then a CR125. for those of us who can read engine capacities are clearly stated in the title of the bikes. however just because its bigger doesnt mean it has more power. the CR 125 would kill it
By the way man i dunno if you have ever riden a four stroke but the dont have power band like two strokes. thats the main advantage, power through the range even at low revs
ok for you that thinks a crf 150 4 stroke is bigger than a cr 125 2 stroke your wrong. i have a 150 and i just bought a cr 125 , and the 125 is such a bigger and faster bike. to get a 4 stroke to do the same speed as a 2 stroke, the enging size of the 4 stroke needs to be twice the size as the 2 stroke
Guys, the difference between a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke is that a 2 stroke generates power on each stroke, meaning a 125 2 stoke is similar to a 250 4 stroke. I hope I made it clear for those of you who has never ridden a dirtbike before, or those who have but don't know much about them.
