i just bought a new 2004 ttr 225, i drive fairely hard, dont mind getting 2-4 feet of air, i have a feeling my ttr is gonna brake, but then again i never drove a ttr before i just bought one...any thoughts? will it take the abuse a xr 250 would?
ive had mine for a while now and it is in need of some maintencee do to how hard i ride it. ive gotten maybe a good 6 feet (maybe more) of air, and i come down and pretty much bottom out the shocks. i weigh a good 155 pounds.i believe the bike was built for more of the trail riding, as in through tough places like over logs and through creeks. i dont think this bike can handle the abuse that the XR 250 is built for. dont get me wrong though, its a very hardy bike, and mine has held up through all kinds of jumps ands spills.
its tough enough
