I keep thinking that I will flip it backwards every time I want to try. Does anyone have any tips on how to wheelie, without flipping ? thx.

ok
if you can, get a clutch kit for your bike it will make it much easier. if you cant get a clutch kit i would just try to wheelie up hill or if you can, get a bike with a clutch.

tips
All you have to do is get the feel for your throttle. You will have to judge how far to bore it. When you get it in the air, all you do is tap that back brake a little and keep your balance.
tip
If i were you i would get on the very back of the seat and give it gas. At the same time you should pull up and bounce on the back of the seat.
hey, im 13 and i ride a ttr-1
hey, im 13 and i ride a ttr-125L too. One of the tips is to first start out in about 3rd gear. pull in the clutch click 4th gear (or just stay in 3rd if ya want).rev the trottle bout half way. Once the front end comes up give it just a little gas. Dont be afraid right now cause if u do you'll give it to much gas and u will flip over!So when u half throttle it try to find ur balance point. It'll take a couple of times to do this but once u do it will be great! When u get to the point where u think ur gonna fall over just tap the back brake evry so.JUst keep tapping the break and ull be ridin a wheelie in no time!!

no bumps
hitting bumps will pop your front end, but only for about 1 second until your back wheel hits it
Wheelie tips
Rev it flat out-drop the clutch, that'll do it
tips
give it half throttle and when ur letting go of the clutch let go at half way and ull do it
thats right
hay thats how i do em ive got up yo 5th gear i wheelied for 5 minutes
WHATTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT DO U MEAN??????????????????????????????????????????????

wheele
i am 14 and i have a yz250f to do a wheele all i do is sit back and hit the gas the thing has so much power i don't need to bounce or use the cluch.
Wheeling tips!
I have been riding the desert in Arizona and California for the past thirty years. Every so often I need to get up on one weel, run over a dead cow. Go through a Pucker Patch, impress some city slicken bikini clad camp racers. I just Twist the throttle. Get a bike with some horsepower. "KIDS!"
get a 2 stroke
Get a 2 stroke and you will have no problem boys
rm 80
i got a worked rm80 and all i need to do go into first gas it and shift up to second and just go
u don't need a clutch to mono
u don't need a clutch to mono all u got to get use to is shifting your weight back at the same time you twist the throttle just keep practising at that in what ever gear u want. istarted in 2nd. if that isn't working for u just try bouncing front shocks with same as before
once your up its up to u to get use to the throttle and brake and balance it really is muck around and if your persistant u'll get piss easy
don't show off your monoing f
don't show off your monoing for all the wrong reasons
how to wheelie
well first of all you can't be afraid to do it. just commit. Lean back and give it gas. but if it gets to the point to where you are going to flip just tap the brake.
(REMEMBER COMMIT)
i got a CR250 Elsinore and i
i got a CR250 Elsinore and i cant really wheelie either because im a farley new rider but all you have to do it give it some gas and pull back and when you do it for a wile you can go longer so do whatever your fomfortable with
peace
weelie
sit on back of bike. if you think you are going to flip hit the back brake
weelie
instead of balancing with the back brake just shift! its alot easyer and when you shift your bike wont get a jolt of power it will just go to a lower RPM.
weelie
I had a TTR-125L and I found it difficult to catwalk but the best way to catwalk is to sit on the back lift up the weel in 2nd then when it start's coming up shift to 3rd (without clutch).
I have also just traded up to a KTM EXC 360 and it's awsome. I would have to say KTM blows away the compotition and I thought yamaha was good. I would recommend recommend KTM to you. E-mail dirt_rider666@hotmail.com
wheelie
ya i got 1 when u let off the cluctch make shure that uyr foot is on the brake , if u feel like u gunna flip over stomp on the brake
on a 125 1-2 grear it has a sweet spot if u can hit that u dont nened the clutch the from wheel will lift up on it own
im only 14 and i can wheelie down the street and my street is a 3/4 long
what is it with smaller bikes
what is it with smaller bikes ??? is it just that we let our guards down enough for them to get the better of us hehehehe
try leaning back while laying
try leaning back while laying on the throttle you will find they tend to rear up with a little jerk on the handle bars when laying the juice on
start off in first lean towar
start off in first lean towards the back of the bike and give it gas but don't over rev and when you feel you are back to far tap the back break i called it a 12:00
wheelie school 101
Ok pups, big daddy is going to teach you to wheelie.
Dirt bikes:
1. Position, butt back, but torso straight. Arms very slightly flexed, legs gripping the tank. Right foot guarding the rear brake.
2. Accelerat to 14mph.
3. Slightly close throttle (1/8th) this loads the front shocks. Then briskly open the throttle to 3/4s.
4. The front end comes up. Stay in postion. Don't lean over. Don't panic and chop the thottle.
5. Once up ease the thottle down. Play with it to find your balance points. The higher your wheelie the less throttle you will need to stay up. Open the throttle reluctantly. Just enough to keep the balance point but not accelerate to fast.
The fast you accelerate the sooner you will rev limit. You should be able to keep you speed constant and wheelie all day in second.
Class dismissed.
wheeling
hey to keep u from going back when ur doing a wheelie keep your foot on the back brake and if u feel that ur goin to start to go over then just tap it a little, and if u want to stop doin a wheelie then just push on ur back brake hell of hard like u do if u were leaning to far in the air.
clutch
Im 15 and i ride Cr 125, its got a lot of power, i use to be afraid to drop the clutch and do a wheelie, but i juss practiced it alot and started using a lil by lil gas at a time untill it came up fast and easy, that way u can start the wheelie slower and ride it farther, but also be carfull when u kick it into second when ur done with first cause some times u'll give it to much throttle, the balancing point is not hard to find, u juss cant be afraid to fall, on my d/bike i can stand it straight up and ride it REALY far.
