Would the crf250 be a good bike for someone with little riding experience??-please reply

Hi-i'm thinking about getting a Crf250 but im not sure if it will be to powerful for me. i'm 14 years old and im 5,11. i used to have a have a 3 wheeler(250cc). So would this bike be ok for a 'intermediate' rider or would it be to powerful. Also does it need alot of matanience. Thanks

i have an 04 crf 250r motocross one and before that i had a xr100 and i am probablly just over an intermediate rider and yea at first it seemed a little powerful but it took time to get used to cause i only had a little xr 100 before that and im 15 now and i just got the bike in march and im wheeling hit jumps and all sorts of stupid stuff so i think u would be fine on it

Yeah you should try it out I started riding on a XR 100 and it was lots of power but i had no expeirence what so ever! And now i'm riding a CR 250. It took like 3 years to learn to ride that. and i'm 15! And i'm a girl!

yeah i would'nt start ona XR coz u have riden a bike just not a two wheeler so guess u get the idea of how to ride one so if ur keen i'd start on a CRF 230 maybe even a YZ 125 but uno depends if power scares you or not... just dont buy a TT-R fuck you will regret it.

Go with the Cr 125 if ur a 2 stroke man nd a crf250r is ur a 4 stroke man. Juss take it easy for a lil bit u'll grow into it. I went from no expirence to a crf230 and it sucked. It had no power. I rode the 230 for like 4 months bc it was my broks and i juss got a cr 250r

if i were u id just buy the crf .. i mean, i jumped off my 25 year old xr 80 on to a brand new 125 and i got used to it. Just dont ride over ur head and keep it rubber side down.
