The TTR and YZ are two very different beasts. I've not actually tried fitting any TTR stuff to a YZ, but I doubt that there would be much, if anything that would swap across.
Handguards might, but I'm not sure if the ttr has the same style of brake/clutch mounts as the YZ, so even these may not transfer.
Go to your local yamaha shop, and check out the two bikes to see if anything will transfer is all I can suggest.
the best thing for that bike is about 2k for a trade and 4 k cash for a yzf 250 i have rode a 225 my riding buddy's has one the best up grade is about $15 for a 13 tooth cog up front use sprocket specialies and use the washer and clip that comes packaged w/ the factory keeper wont work to small
a ttr225 and a yz? ehh...no, it's the 125 that is designed to look more alike the yz, i doubt it, call a shop/catalouge and ask before you go on a shopping spree
i ahve a ttr 125 righht now and i can stay up wid a 2001 rm 80 and i am getting a 2005 ttr 230 and do u think it will beat a rm 125 or a yz 125?
can u help me chosse wat shud i geta yz 85 or a ttr 230?

i have a ttr 125l and i have checked into yz forks and the 80 forks fit right in to te stock tripple clamp
