You can now buy the T-4 system seperate header/mufffler for the crf250x , use the low gp header for trails, run stock muffler without the baffle or the t4 muff bike does rev cleaner with the t4 ,note:if you mess with the air/box and exh. you best know how to re jet it. . checked valves @150 miles and they where in spec . should retain with the shims under bucket , i'll figure to check them every 100 miles
Just got my 250x couple weeks ago and added busters and took out the baffle(stock is just too quiet)took it for a ride at Kahuku and this bike is awesome! the e-start works great(get stuck on a hill just hit the button and go!),the motor has good low end torque and pulls smooth with good top end,the suspension is solid this bike feels light and is very nimble though the trails.it does feel alittle over greared,i'm planning to get a 49 rear sprocket,header pipe,rejet,open air box and some better skid guards..best bike I ever bought and most expensive one too and now have seven dirt bikes in my garage...mahalo happy trail riding!
we all seem to have forgotten the original question here. well dude for your orriginal questoin. try blue printing it. if you don't know what that is its a process of linning up your valves and all that i just got told it adds 10 hp so you can't go wrong with that. another thing that seems to work for eveyone is fmf pipes. also if your thinking of doing traill riding think of the old push bike, 1st fear is big back small front and it makes more talk. so if you want hill climbs go for big back small front. if your doing moto x and your gonna be reving the nutts of it all the time go for big front small back. if ever in doubt think of the old pedly. well good luck wiht your problems anyway.
