Supermotard Final

VD Bosch led fromm lap two and was never headed to the finish.

Aussie Mark Avard said the competition was extremely tough and fast, a huge
eye opener to the fast Husaberg rider who was very much on the pace in the
Australian series.

Supermotard GP

Progressive results from Round one of the World SM GP.

Qualifying is in two groups with the fastest 36 progressing to the races
with Semi finals, a last chance qualifier and a final for the last four
positions on the grid. Word from Aussie, Scott Stephens is that these guys
are extremely fast and competitive.

News Alert: 2002 Honda Australia Junior Motocross Championship Results from Wednesday

Results from the first day of competition for the 2002 Honda Australia
Junior Motocross Championship at Chidlow in Western Australia are now
available for viewing at

Conditions:
Showers and heavy downpours made for difficult riding conditions at
Chidlow. Rain is expected to continue today.

Classes:
Due to big entry numbers, some classes had heats between sets of riders

Mark Avard from Australia used the German event to test with his new
Husaberg before the first heat of the World championship in Namur next
weekend. Because of the German rules, he had to start in the Open-class. He
was 3rd in the final.

MA NewsFlash: Shell Advance Australian Superbike Championship

The closing date for entries for the forthcoming Queensland Round of the
Shell Advance Australian Superbike Championship was originally set at 3
weeks prior to the event (Thursday 11 July).

This was due to an understanding that motor sport in Queensland was
bound that states legislation, namely the Queensland Motor Accident
Insurance Act and the Queensland Transport Operations Act.

However, it transpires that Motorcycling Australia is exempted from the
requirements of this legislation. Therefore in the interests of
competitors, the deadline for all entries has been extended to Monday 22

The 2002 Australian Junior Motocross Championship starts today, in
Western Australia.

The Championship is being promoted by the West Australian Junior
