Wat Up,
I'm fairly new with riding, I have been out three times riding with my buddy... I have been riding a 1987 KDX 200 2 stroke, I'm hella diggin dirtbiking and my neighbor offered me his bike... It's a 2003 Honda CRF 230, about 10 hours, for $1800 and my friend said that was a bombin deal.
The only thing is, I'm 6'2" 155lbs and 17 years old....
Should I be buying a bike this soon?
Is the 230 too small, egine and size of bike (i have eard it was made for smaller riders)
I like the 2 stroke a lot, but is 4 stroke the way to go?
I'm more of a trail rider, but do some track ( I know the 230 has shit suspension for track, but is that only with heavier riders?)
If not the 230, should I go 250?
Thanks
you should get a 250f. you wi
you should get a 250f. you will not be satisfied with the crf230, its a joke of a bike. definately a lack of power. it has about 1/3 of the power of that kdx youve been riding.

its not even that good of a d
its not even that good of a deal, i picked up my 2004 rmz250 in mint condition for only $2000. check out ebay. u should check out a few more bikes because i really dont think a crf230f will work so well for u.

when will i need more power?
if i did go with the 230, how long you think before i wanted more power (i have riding for three days, thats it....i can do all the black diamonds at the local park, and I'm only doing trails no track...)
definetly the 250 my friend g
definetly the 250 my friend got a crf230 and hes 14 (soon15) kinda short and stubby but he says the 230 dont have much power but he can catch up with my bros 04 TTR-225 no trouble and it may be a good deal but in my opinion i would get a 250 , but if u really do have a choice and dont want to stick with the bike ur on now; RideRed!!!
