well my first and probaly obvious question is it jetted for the cams and filter. also do u have a pipe? if not get one! how are the valves holding up? how many times have u shimmed? if its more than 5 u are losing lots of power through a most likely compression leak in the valves. have u check the compression. also when u bought the piston did u buy a new cylinder or hone and recoat the old one? yamaha has an aluminum sleeve right? there is no way u can even get 75% of the performance of that piston if u didnt swap out cylinders or hone. also to handle the power u have now, did u get new pressure plates and stiffer springs because i guarantee u will get a little slip from time to time with any increase in power and keeping stock springs.
