I recently moved, to Port Hardy BC, Canada, from Williams Lake, and when I started up my bike it wouldn't run right. It won't idle and when I give it some throttle it'll bogg out on me. I checked the spark and there wasn't a whole lot so I changed that, and it still isn't running right. It's a 1989 Yamaha yz125. I would appreciate any help anybody will give me. I also have email which is the same as my msn, it's Sp_232003@hotmail.com, which I'm on usually between 6 and 12:00 in the evening, or you can send me mail. Again, I will appreciate any help anybody can offer me.
thx for letting me knnow abou
thx for letting me knnow about how much it cost to fix ur bike
Yeah
No problem
Stuntman Dont listen to the people about rebuilding ur engine
Ur bike needs wat the call a big Tune up. I can tell just by wat u decribed wats up wit ur bike. U blew the piston rings and the gas is not getting trough the carb becuase the blades won't let the gas trough( thats y its bogs down) i had the same problem wit my Yz125. its not ur reeds there fine trust me, if it is ur reeds there probly chipped, Then about the exchaust u prob haven't been taken care of ur 2 Storke thats ok i did the same thing when i was ur age, but u have really big problems wit ur bike it cost me 310 bucks to fix it from a shop. U don't need to get a new top end u need new rings. but hears the big problem i think that ur bike runs on a raditaor but im not shore if so then radiator fluid has probly leaked into the engine and cause alot of trouble. if u need any help my Num is 410 820 1350
did you ever check the compre
did you ever check the compression
if its a 4 stroke i would most definatly check the valves and timing
just incase something did happen
i had the same thing happen to my old 90
i had cleaned and looked at everything
and it turned out to be a blown valve
just hold the kill switch
take out the spark plug put your finger in the hole
and kick it
it should try and blow off your finger and there should aslo be slight gas
if there isnt slight gas check if your fuel is actually getting passed the carb
