the engine doesnt turn the front wheel. hydrolic fluid turns it. and it doesnt take away any power to the enegine. it just weighs about 5 lbs more. it would be great if they could make it more efficent.

um... and where does the power to pump the hydraulic fluid come from??????? ya, the engine. turning a hydraulic pumps in one of the most strenuous things you could ask of these engines. and ya, y would 2 wheel drive be so important for mx series bikes seeing as half the time u are hitting whoops or are in the air. maybe for enduro bikes but not here in mx.
random other thing, but i like how u were like "its driven by hydraulic power but doesnt take away any performance from the engine" then u were like, "i wish they could make it more effective" hmmmm.... i will even go into that. also how can u say that turning another wheel and a hydraulic pump not take away power from the engine??? think how much a wheel weighs, just turning the second wheel alone is a 2-5hp loss and the hydraulic pump is another 2hp.

hey tig is one of the very few people on this site that acutally knows what the hell hes talkin about..... 2 whell drive would suck because you depend on your front wheel to stay connected with the dirt and your back wheel to slide around corners.. with 2 wheel drive the front wheel would slide if you came in with too much throttle and it would result in terribble handiling and slower lap times.... 2 wheel drive doesnt belong in mx
