okay when i have my bike (TTR 125L) idling or even when im riding when i crank the throttle too fast it seems to spuder out and almost stall, any sugestions for fixing this?
i have a kx125 i just got my bike back from mehcanics i got new piston rings, new igniton, new water pump, power vavles cleaned and the cylinder bore smoothed
now when i use full throttle quickly it makes this noise like its drowning and it doesnt rev all the way out anymore what should i do to the jetting to fix this, i changed the fuel ratio to 40:1 from 32:1
it got a bit better
please help its very frustrating
i am using br9es spark plug its the same air filter and the muffler is the same the ignition is set to advanced its works the best on that
but it still doesnt rev all the way out
hmmmm interesting i think your problem maybe in the carby . First off i'd check the pilot jet for a blockage and if that seems to be fine i'd go a bit bigger in size to feed more fuel to the motor .I dont think you have any problems with the main jet but next i'd go to the needle. Chances are that you wouldnt have to go this far as a needle wont were in such a short amount of time .But if you see any wear in the needle or any sign off bending i'd replace with a standard needle .If all is clear in the carb make sure you have the air mixture screw about 2-3 turns out. Apart from that the only thing to check is ignition timing as too retarded in the timing will cause this. The ttr will be an electric Ignition but make sure you check the keyway key as a few degrees can make a lot of diference.Last off make sure your cdi, coil and plug cap are not wet as water will stop any spark from getting a direct rute.
i have recently had my wheels off to be powder coated and took all the spokes off etc. when i went to put it all back together the front wheel has been very slightly buckled. when riding the bike now the tyre wil gently rub against the fort gaiter and ideas what i can do?
2 strokes suck. i know because i have one. unless u clean out the carb every other ride, its going to run like crap. what happens is... the gas that is in the carb evaporates, leaving the sticky, thick oil in ur carb to clog ur jets and screw everything up. also, 2 stroke gas gets old very quick. it is not good to use gas that is older than a week old.

Typical Four Stroke
What you describe is fairly typical four stroke behaviour. Learn to ride slightly higher in the rev range, and you will soon no longer notice it.
