I just bought an 04 YZ 125 and I think it is running rich. I am new to small motors and was wondering which way to go with the jetting. Any general advice would be helpful as well. Thanks.

typically, a lean bike will seem to rev really high without giving that much power, you might also getr some backfiring and the bike will sputter when u give it alot of gas.

a rich bike, however, will seem to bog when you give it gas and it will make popping noises when you de-celerate.

if your bike is lean, you need bigger jets, and rich, smaller ones

as to exactly what jets you need, it all depends on altitude and climate and stuff like that. the best thing to do would be to take it to your dealer
