I took apart my carb and reassembled it now when i kick my bike over gas pukes out of the overflow the needle and seat are in correctly but i can't figure out what is wrong.
Check the float level. I t should be between 7/8" and 1.0". Measure from the carb body to the top of the float when the adjust tab just touches the needle. Make sure there aren't any holes in the float too. If the needle doesn't seat all the way, gas will keep flowing in and run out the overflow. New carb kits aren't a guarantee of performance. I did two seperate bikes and the new needles stuck closed and I had to tap on the carb with a screwdriver to shake them loose.
If you have a manual, use the specs in it on your carb. What older bike do you have?
carb problems on older bike
