Dunes

I'm not sure but I think the sand paddle tires would only help.
I have an sl230 at the moment (basicly the same engine as a crf230f) it had road/dirt tires and a tried them on sand and they sunk too much.
Then later on I switched to wider pirelli aggressive knobbies and they make a big difference (I can get into 3rd gear on sand) so I imagine that paddles would be even better.

Cheers!

Yeah..

Yeah, I thought the same about my bike but it does suprisingly well on the sand. But I think that you any your bike would be pretty light, thats the upside of having a small bike. I love riding in the desert, its great fun. I am going on a trip with my uncles to the desert and they can do up to 55mph on the sand on a ktm 600 and a husaberg 400. If you want some better advice why not send an email to simon.

Have a good one!

Good question

But unfortunately, I dont know the answer. I'm surprised you can even get a Sand paddle to fit the XR100.

I would not think performance would be fantastic, but it should go better than with a standard tire, and get up and skim the top quicker.

Try it out and let us know how it goes. Since you've already got it, it will be good practise for tyre changes ;-)
