Some google searches to help

A few choices to look at:
http://www.acerbis.com/p107_headlight/p107.html

A company that does lighting coils which you will most likely need:
http://www.procycle.us/main/lightcoils.htm
CR125 90-96, CR250 89-92 80 Watts $186.95

Other things you might need:
http://www.procycle.us/main/dskit.htm

Good luck.

I live in CA. USA and its all but impossible to street legal a dirt bike any more.

Not a problem, one more place to try...

I also ran across this site, which may help you as well.
http://www.dirtbikemagazine.com/archives.asp?var=read&id=48

The article says it wont work for a '99 & '00 Honda.

Here is the companies catalog page

Wiring Diagram

Sorry, I don’t have any. You might be able to look up a Honda that sells with a light or other bikes that come with a light, to get a idea of what is needed for wiring a light up. This site seemed to have some info on what parts to collect ( http://4strokes.com/tech/honda/lightup/ ) and why they are needed. A tech section from 4strokes.com ( http://4strokes.com/tech/ )
This is a tech tip about stators ( http://www.crustyquinns.com/tech/stator.html )

What type of bike are you planning on wiring for lights?

I live in California, and am currently researching putting a light kit on a 05 RM-Z450. Chances are I will have to trial and error everything since it’s a new model. Once I get more time and closer to a working solution I’ll post my findings of what wiring, kits, and adaptations that worked for me.
