i recently decided i wanted 2 c how much power i would get if i took the end cap out of my 05 ttr 230. it waz AWESOME! it gave it so much more torque up the hills sounded beta(even tough its not sound legal) it went faster too. i think that all u need is a beta end cap thats sound legal and it will be just as effective as a new exhaust (and cheaper!!!)
iv got one too my mate says its a girls bike but he rides a peice-o-crap rm80 1982 so there ok , and i have a fmf pipe on my ttr and a hi-flow air intake kit and she flys
Dont go out and buy an exhaust kit for this bike they cost to much money for what they do instead take the removable inner exhaust out and take out the spark arrestor out and drill small holes in it an put that back in..i have taken out the whole baffle for this bike and have acheived 75.68mph in a 1/8 mile dragstrip before and it was reving out at the end by doing that and for more power you can also remove the snorkel from the airbox and drill holes in the back half of the airbox to let it breath more these are free upgrades that extremely help the low end and mid range on this bike....remember you cant beat free!!!
