easy

well it would be easy to do because the motors are about the same size you would have to change the motor mounts and re-direct the exaust but other than that its easy..i did it with a 2002 CBR 600 motor and put it in a banshee frame and it only took me a few hour to get it where i wanted it but a few days to get it right. but your job will only take a few hours to a day to do..

you should have sold the zx m

you should have sold the zx motor its too heavy
and as for the 250 its water cooled blasters arent its a little harder than a drop in motor, and kick starting is going to be a pain it kicks the opposit way

you will have to get a pipe t

you will have to get a pipe that has the right bends in it and the right size expansion chamber or it will screw up the backpressure of the exhaust and rob a sh#t load of power

na

the stock 250 pipe will work just fine..what do yu think the old quad racers where a 250 dirt bike engine one a quad..yeah the frames are different from a blaster but if you fold around with it it would work..trust me..

u guys realize that the gear

u guys realize that the gear faces on a dirt bike transmission are bout half the size of a quad transmission so ya the gears dont like it when theyre slammed with double the load. quad engine in a bike works but is pointless but a dirt bike engine in a quad is not a good idea

bullshit

i have bein around these types of things my whole life and i know for a fact that its will work..a 250 dirt bike motor will work in a blaster frame..for one a blaster is only a 200cc motor and a 250 is 249.6cc so the power to wieght ratio will work plus a 250 dirtbike frame is 4.7lbs havier that a blaster's frame..may not seem like to but is.. so dont tell these guys in here that it is pointless..

dude banshee killer read wat

dude banshee killer read wat i wrote, i said puttin a quad engine in a bike frame is pointless, u gotta read better next time. the reason it is pointles TO PUT A QUAD ENGINE IN A DIRT DIKE FRAME is simple. there is more rotational mass in a quad engine so u effectively make the bike slower. now like i was sayin before the gear faces on a dirt bike transmission are thinner but u never kno people have prob done it before, its just not recomended

yeah

yeah but i wasnt talking about a quad engine in a dirt bike, i was talking about a dirt bike engine in a quad, that is what the kid wants to know and it can be done..yeah your right in some ways about a quad engine in a bike frame..and yes it will make it slower but those types of setups are made for hill climbing b/c it will have more torqe but also enough speed to make it up....but if you want a little snappy ass machine then you put a two-stroke 250 in a quad frame..the only quad engine that will work in a bike frame and be still be fast as hell is a banshee.
