My 9-year-old son was riding his Yamaha PW80 over Thanksgiving when a quad T-boned him. His bike is toast, the estimate to fix it is more than a new one would cost. He's really too big for the PW80 anyways, and I'd like to get him a bike with a green sticker (CA). He's 4'11", 95 lbs. He can sit on either bike comfortably, and knows how to work a clutch. He occasionally races with other small trail bikes. Is one bike more reliable than the other? Should I get him the 100 and hope it lasts while, or get the 80 and buy him a larger bike (150) when he's ready?
Thanks!
hey
Hey if your son can already work the clutch the crf100 is the way to go. This bike is a awsome trial bike and it is really reliable. My friend still rides a little 1999 xr100 and its still running. Your son will love this bike.
