i know that the whole two stroke versus four stroke thing is a very touchy subject, but i just want to state that im confused to why every body is so dead seat on comparing the 450 4 to the 250 2, i mean the are not really an equal comparisn. of course the 450 will be a little faster its nearly twice the dissplacment. if you were to race a 2 stroke 250 and a 4 stroke 250 in the 1/4 mile the 2 stroke would be finished before the 4 stroke even left the line!!!!
my point is, people should not get all riled up over an unfair comparisn. if comparing a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke of an equal displacement the 2 stroke will be better in every way.

...WHAT 250 4 STROKE DO YOU GUYS THINK IS BETTER THE YZ250F,CRF250,KX250F,RM-Z250, WHICH BIKE IS MORE RELIABLE...WHICH ONE WOULD YOU GET...WHY?

im thinking about getting a 125 0r 250 2 stroke. if they stop makng 2 strokes will i still be able to get parts of it?

im 6 ft tall bout 180 lbs and was wondering about what to get for a dirtbike for trail riding and a few off roading areas up in the mountain

my bosses suggest i get a 250cc dirtbike 4 stroke but start off with a 2stroke to make things easier

Well i was considering on gettinga 250f and was just wandering if any one could practicly tell me step by step how to valves and all that crap becasue that stuff is like chemstry compared to 2 strokes
