Help: Trying to bring back from the dead a XL 350R with a no start, already replaced the stator, what other checks or procedures could i do, any other direction would be sweet, thanks

i never rode dirtbikes before in my life or clutch..all i have rode was a 250ex and i pretty much mastered that..im a girl so im not a strong as guys obviously and im about 5'4"and am not going to grow any more. i just wanted some advice from smarter people who know what their talking about if im better off going with the crf 150 or if i will be able to start in low gears on the 230 and just get used to it buy time..i really want the 230 because i want to keep the bike i choose for a long time..thanks if you respond

can you lower the seat of a crf 230? if so how far?

hey everyone, just a few questions for you. im 14 years old and i weigh 55kg. im getting a motorbike at the end of the year and by then i will be 15. i was thinking about getting the crf 230 but then i thought the crf 230 has got 223cc and the crf 250 has got 249cc. theres not that much difference but if i got the crf 250 i could have it for longer. i dont have much riding experience but have ridden friends bikes. so the crf 250 or the crf 230. What are your thoughts? (if theres any other bikes you think are better, please let me know) catcha later

ive been riding a 250ex for a while now and decided i wanted to start riding dirtbikes.....im 5'4 160 lbs and couldnt pick between a crf 150 or a crf 230....i dont know the top speeds or really much about them but owning a honda i def. want to stick with the hondas...with my hieght would i be able to touch the ground ? please help..

I'm buying a 1984 XL600r this weekend and i was wondering was there anything major that happens with the motors in the 84's or anything else with the whole bike.

is the rev-box a good mod or is it a waste?..is there a noticable increase in climing power or speed?....please list other good mods thanks

ive got an 1978 xr 75, when i ride it now it feels like its bogging down to the point where i need to pull in the clutch and giv'er. I dont really kno how else to explain the problem, but theres more to it :S. but, if anyone could tell me what signs tell u when its time to adjust the timing chain or the valves in it, could it need a rebuild? i donno but any help is really apprecaited since its very important to me that this bike is fixed.. thanks for any help
