I have a 05 CRF 100. It has been sitting for 2 or 3 years. But was running fine before that. Now it starts fine but won't idle or rev out unless it is set at half choke. I have pulled the carb apart and cleaned it, also replaced the jets. Have also had a bike shop look at the carb and clean it, seemed okay. The fuel line and filter seem clear as is the air box. Replaced the plug, spark seems good. Any ideas?

Okay so heres the run down, I got a 2003 XR100R, the bike is decent, no engine issues maintained and never had a problem untill I cleaned the bowl on my carb. Ever since then, the bike wouldnt run right, also, I had a sticky throttle prior to this. I had a mechanic go over the carb, and watched videos on it, it looks just fine, we had the bike running a few times but the RPMS were extremely high, almost like the throttle was cranked open.

I need a condenser for a 1984 XR100.  I would really like to know the capacitance value and any other values which would make selecting a generic condenser in the future easy.  There's no markings on the condenser on my bike.  I've also searched all over the web.

If the above is not possible does anyone know a suitable replacement?
Or the electrical specifications that the 99cc engine runs at (Volts, amps?) to calculate for a condenser?

I'm pretty desperate here, any ideas?

I am trying to help a buddy out with his XR100 and the clutch will not disengauge. I have verified that all the parts from the basket outward are all there and assembled as the diagrams show. However, the pin will not push in to release the plates. Any ideas? Also, any description as to how the plates are actually supposed to be release by the pin being pressed would be greatly appreciated. I understand the concept but can't seem to Literally see how it works.

I have a 2002 XR100 that was given to me and I'm trying to get it going. I'm having trouble getting the clutch to work. I pulled the right engine case and inspeced all parts. Everything appears to be there and assembled correctly... as far as I can tell. When you pulle the lever the pin inside the roller bearing is pressed. This should relieve the pressure on the plates... in theory! Problem is that the pin doesn't move and I can't see how it could relieve the plates?

Someone gave me a 91 Cr125 and the problem is ots not getting any spark! Just wondering if there are and simple tricks I'm not sure about before I start tearing into the motor! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a 2003 Honda XR50R3.

Recently, it started stalling shortly after being started, and then would not start at all.  I let it sit for 30-40 minutes and I can starr it again, but again it stalls and will not restart.

I suspect a carburetor issue, seems like it is flooding. I have tried this sequence with the choke in various positions, and then switching it around after starting,  dozens of times.  No Luck.

Any guru's out there have some tricks I might want to try before dropping insane coin at the local Honda place?
